This Privacy Policy explains how LegacyLoop, provided by LavitaTech (“LegacyLoop,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, stores, shares, protects, and deletes information when you use the LegacyLoop mobile application and related services (the “Service”).

LegacyLoop is designed to help users organize important information and configure trusted access preferences. LegacyLoop does not provide legal, financial, tax, medical, estate planning, or professional advice and does not replace legally executed documents, estate plans, wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance directives, beneficiary designations, or advice from qualified professionals.

3.1 With people you choose

LegacyLoop is designed around user-controlled sharing. Information may be made available to trusted contacts, emergency contacts, beneficiaries, or verification contacts only according to the access settings, permissions, release rules, and workflows configured in the app.

3.2 Service providers

We may use third-party service providers to operate the Service, including hosting, authentication, databases, storage, push notifications, crash reporting, analytics, security, and customer support tools. These providers may process information on our behalf only as needed to provide services to us.

3.3 Legal, safety, and enforcement

We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our terms or policies, investigate abuse or security issues, protect users, or protect rights, safety, and property.

If LegacyLoop or LavitaTech is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal protections.

LegacyLoop is not designed to resell user vault data, personal documents, account guidance, messages, trusted contact records, or beneficiary records.

You control the information you choose to add to LegacyLoop. Where supported by the app, you may edit or delete certain content, update trusted contacts, change access permissions, and request or initiate account deletion.

When you delete your account through the app, LegacyLoop is designed to remove your account and associated user-controlled content from active systems, including user documents and related records, subject to technical, legal, security, backup, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, and compliance limitations.

Some information may be retained for a limited period where reasonably necessary, such as logs, deletion records, support communications, abuse prevention records, security records, or records required by law.

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Service, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, prevent fraud, and support account deletion or restoration processes.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. However, no system, network, storage provider, or transmission method is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security or uninterrupted access.

LegacyLoop may allow users to store sensitive personal, family, financial, logistical, account-related, or end-of-life information. You are responsible for choosing what to store, ensuring you have the right to upload it, and assigning trusted access carefully.

If you add another person as a trusted contact, beneficiary, emergency contact, or verification contact, you are responsible for providing accurate information and confirming that your use of their information complies with applicable law and any obligations you may have to that person.

The Service may use or link to third-party services. Third-party services are governed by their own privacy policies and terms. We are not responsible for third-party privacy, security, or data practices.

LegacyLoop is not intended for children under 13 or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact support.

If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where we or our service providers operate.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date indicates when this policy was last revised. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy to the maximum extent permitted by law.
